In 1992 trok Amy Fisher, een tiener uit een buitenwijk van New York, de aandacht van de nationale media toen ze de vrouw van haar minnaar in het gezicht schoot. Dit smerige verhaal over seks met minderjarigen, zware mishandeling en Joey Buttafuoco slaagde erin om niet één, niet twee, maar drie afzonderlijke tv-films voort te brengen. Drew Barrymore, Alyssa Milano en Noëlle Parker probeerden allemaal de gestoorde jongedame te portretteren, maar tot nu toe is er nooit een echte weergave van Amy Fisher op het scherm verschenen. In deze Rashomon of Found Footage-film versmelt regisseur Dan Kapelovitz de verschillende melodrama's tot één ultieme metadrama-mashup.
